It seems the older I get the more important our door space becomes. The very idea of spending more time out doors enjoying the natural world seems to resonate more with each passing day.

Everywhere I travel I make a point o explore the countryside and the outdoor spaces of country houses, palaces, castles and villages along the way. I am often struck by the variety and beauty which has been created on the outside of these spaces as much as I am by the lush interiors . garden accents, furnishings and sculptures have always been a weakness of mine, and i find it difficult at times to leave behind  what i may not have a place for. Here are some of the items I own or have owned which in many cases are still looking for the proper home or garden to reside.
